On July 19, 2014, Premier Li Keqiang sent respectively the messages of condolences to Prime Minister Najib Razak of Malaysia and Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands over the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 17.

In his condolence message to Najib, Li Keqiang said that he was shocked to learn the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 17 which claimed the lives of 298 people on board including the passengers and the crew of the plane. On behalf of the Chinese government and people, I express sincere sympathies to the Malaysian government and people and deep condolences to the victims onboard the plane.

In his condolence message to Rutte, Li Keqiang said that he was shocked to learn that a large number of Dutch citizens lost their lives in the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 17. On behalf of the Chinese government and people, I express sincere sympathies to the Dutch government and people and deep condolences to the victims of your country.
