In the morning of November 14, 2014, at the invitation of Prime Minister Tony Abbott of the Commonwealth of Australia, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by special plane for his attendance of the 9th G20 Summit to be held in Brisbane, Australia. At the invitation of Governor-General Peter Cosgrove and Prime Minister Tony Abbott of the Commonwealth of Australia, Governor-General Jerry Mateparae and Prime Minister John Key of New Zealand, and President Epeli Nailatikau and Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama of the Republic of Fiji, President Xi Jinping will pay state visits to the aforementioned three countries, and hold meetings with leaders of Pacific Islands countries that have established diplomatic relationship with China in Fiji.
