Ambassador Wu Sike Meets with Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Dr.Muhammed Awad Tag El-Din

Ambassador Wu Sike held a friendly talk with Dr.Muhammed Awad Tag El-Din, Egyptian Minister of Health and Population on May 14,2005.

Wu briefed Tag El-Din the achievements in Chinese medicine technology and production in recent years, and the situation of bilateral cooperation as well. Wu said both sides enjoy favorable prospects for cooperation in this regard, adding that China shows positive position towards it. Wu expressed appreciation and thanks for Egyptian government's consistent stand on the "One China" principle and support for China's peaceful reunification among the international organizations such as WHO.

Ambassador Wu Sike meets with Tag El-Din

Tag EL-Din pointed out Egypt attaches importance to strengthening bilateral cooperation in health and population sectors. On the bilateral cooperation in the international sphere. Tag EL-Din said the two sides established strategic and cooperative relations, emphasizing Egypt consistently sticks to the "One China" principle and firmly opposes any attempts aimed at creating "Two Chinas" or "One China, One Taiwan" among the international organizations such as WHO.
